Using CallGuard NG
CallGuard NG is published by Peresoft Digital Innovations Ltd. It helps you identify and block unwanted calls using rules you control. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall it.
Setup and Android limits
The app needs Android 10 or newer and must be chosen as your caller ID and spam app. Android supplies only eligible calls to a screening app: calls with hidden, private, unavailable or otherwise restricted caller IDs may not be supplied, and behaviour varies between phones and carriers. Test your rules on your own phone.
Your rules, your responsibility
You decide what is blocked. A rule can block a call you wanted, such as one from a doctor, a delivery driver or an emergency service. Review your rules and your blocked-call log regularly. Do not rely on the app to receive emergency or time-critical calls.
Spam list
The included spam list is a best-effort aid and can be incomplete or wrong. A number appearing on it, or not, is not a statement about the person who uses it.
Shared rules
Rules shared by other people are applied only after you review and accept them. Only import rules from people you trust.
Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully and do not use it to harass others or to block calls in a way that breaks the law.
No warranty and liability
CallGuard NG is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty, including for missed, wrongly blocked or wrongly allowed calls. To the extent the law allows, Peresoft Digital Innovations Ltd is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, CallGuard NG. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time with new versions of the app. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the product after an update means you accept the new terms. Questions? Contact us.
