Using SHOTDEX
SHOTDEX — Screenshot Search is published by Peresoft Digital Innovations Ltd. It helps you find, read and organise the screenshots on your phone. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall it.
Your screenshots stay yours
The app reads your screenshots only on your phone, to make their text searchable and to suggest actions. It has no internet permission: your screenshots, the text read from them, your searches, tasks and reminders are never uploaded, sold or shared. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Permissions
The app asks to read your photos so it can index screenshots. You can choose only some photos, or turn access off in Android settings; search then covers only what it can read. Notifications are used only for reminders you create.
Nothing happens without you
Calls, emails, maps, calendar entries, web searches and deletions only start when you tap them, and open in the app that handles them, where you confirm. Deleting a screenshot always goes through Android’s own confirmation.
Accuracy
Text recognition, categories, amounts, dates, answers in Ask and money summaries are worked out automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. Always check the original screenshot before relying on a detail, especially for payments, account numbers and deadlines. Reminders depend on your phone’s settings and battery optimisation and may be delayed.
Acceptable use
Use the app only with screenshots you are allowed to keep and view. Do not use it to break the law or other people’s rights.
No warranty and liability
SHOTDEX is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty, including for missed reminders, incorrect details or deleted files. To the extent the law allows, Peresoft Digital Innovations Ltd is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, SHOTDEX. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where Peresoft is based. This does not take away the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live, and where that law lets you bring a claim in your local courts, you keep that right. Otherwise, the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute. Please contact us first; most issues are resolved quickly.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time with new versions of the app. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the product after an update means you accept the new terms. Questions? Contact us.
